Windas Work Station can export file to CAD Geometry format. There are layering options based on assigned property and color.
- File – Save as – *.dxf || output neutral CAD model
- Type on cmd – dxf prop || *.dxf with layering system to Section Properties
- Type on cmd – dxf color || *.dxf with layering system to Color
Windas Work Station has additional export feature to other commercial structural analysis software using StaadPro (*.std). Use File – Export – Staad (*.std) to do so. Note that this file format can be opened in SAP2000 software as well.
